It's been almost two years since I decided to give quilting a try. I've had a mishap or two. I've made a handful of rather imperfect quilts. But I still have a mile-long list of quilts I want to make and fabric I want to use. In other words, despite a bump or two in the road, I think I'll be making quilted projects for a good long time. It's a hobby that gives me the joy of creating something and the excitement of learning new things, while being the perfect backdrop for catching up on ... 19 Books for 2019
So apparently, the last blog post I wrote was about books I wanted to read in 2018. And here it is, the very end of that year, and I haven't blogged a bit since then. At first, I thought I couldn't possibly just post about books I would like to read in 2019. Our 5th Grade Homeschool Curriculum
When I was first thinking about homeschooling, I did countless Google searches about curriculum for various grades. I was new to the homeschool world and had no idea what was out there. Reading blog post after blog post helped me realize that the resources and curriculum available to today’s homeschoolers are almost limitless. Of course, that creates another problem — how to choose what to use each year. All I can say is that, with time, I'm starting to learn which curricula are the best ...
