Hi, I’m Katrina. I’m a forty-something mom of two who loves God, my family, photography, good books, chocolate, coffee, and naps. These days, I spend my time homeschooling my youngest son, driving around my oldest son (when I’m not turning over the keys to the car), taking pictures, and trying to convince our two cats that they are not in charge around here.
Once upon a time, I faithfully maintained another blog for almost seven years. But a new season of life found me closing down that blog and taking a break from the whole blog scene for a while. Recently, however, I’ve been feeling the desire to start again. I have no grand plan, but I know this will be a place where I share various parts of my life — my parenting and homeschooling journey, my love for photography, my faith, and the random ramblings of my scattered mind.
If you hang around very long, you’ll get familiar with these people (er…and critters):
- Chad, my husband of almost 22 years (wow, that makes me sound old!)
- Cam, our 17-year-old son (busy high-schooler, checking out colleges, and always researching something)
- Logan, our 9-year-old son (homeschooling for the first time this year, Minecraft-obsessed, and always creating something)
- Chester & Charlie, the cats (Chester is the more photogenic one, but you’ll likely see way too many pictures of both of them)
Thanks for stopping by. You’re welcome here any time!
